I've read a decent amount of Lovecraft. I have mixed feelings about most of it. Movies based on his work seldom work for me either. Re-Animator (originally written in 1922 and titled Herbert West—Reanimator) is the exception. This will probably be the best "disembodied head sucks on a screaming naked womans nipple" video you see all Halloween season, oh hell, it's the best you will see all year. I'm that damn sure!
